Here are some thoughts that popped into mind while working on my design thumbnails
-Australia is bringing out organic/vegan/anti-testing cosmetic products ahead of New Zealand.
-Big corporations like to cut corners, animal testing is cheaper and more convenient.
-Labour party member Trevor Mallard is trying to put a ban on all animal testing and products tested on animals being sold here in New Zealand. (he was successful with banning testing of synthetic drugs)
-Inspirational songs:
Moby- Disco Lies
Basement Jaxx- Where's your head at
-When in Europe I noticed there are a lot more family run stores selling organic products, obviously not animal tested. Would businesses like that not survive in New Zealand?
-Dove is produced by Unilever, and is advertised a lot in New Zealand.
The Dove symbol is a symbol of peace and beauty, I think that's a tad hypocritical.
Slogan: "Natural Beauty"
-The bunny rabbit is one of the most well known animal to be tested on, they are cute fluffy innocent animals that are commonly pets. So seeing a bunny in this situation should be emotive for majority of people.
I feel if I can Justify digging deeper into corporations such as Unilever and P&G and their use of animal testing to produce products we are purchasing in superstores in NZ, instead of focusing on the common idea of big vs little businesses then it should be ok to go a bit off topic.
